Waxingtips StafettBirken 2026
This recommendation is based on weather forecasts, testing and previous experience. Updated Thursday 12.03.26 at 11:00 (based on information from yr.no) Weather forecast for Friday 13.03.26 Stone-ground skis: Medium/coarse structure. Swix Structure Tool: 1 mm straight roller with firm pressure on the back part of the ski. Iron in Swix DHFF white marathon powder. Allow to cool and iron in once more. Let cool, scrape and brush with a steel or brass brush (T179/T162/). Then apply Swix TSP10 alternatively PC100 powder. Iron in with a waxing iron at 160ºC. Allow to cool, scrape and brush with a steel or brass brush (T179/T162/). Finish by polishing the base with the Swix T160 blue polishing brush. Spray on Swix HS10L Liquid. It may be beneficial to use a T21 felt cork for application. Spray onto the felt and wipe along the ski and allow to dry indoors. Once the product has dried it can be brushed with a blue or red nylon brush (T160/T190). We recommend using a hard glide wax as a base layer, for example Swix HS06. If you are using skin skis we recommend applying N21 Swix Skin Boost to improve the glide and grip properties of the skin. If your skin skis are well used and the skins are dirty, we recommend cleaning the skins thoroughly with Swix N22 and then impregnating them with N20 Swix Skin Impregnation before applying N21 Boost. Good luck and enjoy the race.WAXING TIPS STAFETTBIRKEN
