Grip Wax
- Sand the kick zone thoroughly with #100 sandpaper (Swix T330 or T0011).
- Heat in one layer of Swix VG35 Green Base Wax, let cool.
- Heat in one layer of Swix V30 Blue Wax, let cool.
- Apply 2–4 even layers of Swix VP40 Blue, cork between each layer.
- Finish with 3–4 even layers of Swix VP45 Violet, cork between each layer.
- For early starters, it may be beneficial to cover with two thin layers of VP40.
For later start waves or if skis feel slippery, adjust with additional layers or VP50 Violet.
Pack these essentials in your backpack: VP50, VP60, a cork, and a good scraper.
