Victor - Carrying Peru to the World Stage
Victor - Carrying Peru to the World Stage
Victor is forging his path in a country without a national ski federation, determined to represent his birth nation at the highest level. Now, he is ready to represent Peru in the World Championship in Trondheim 2025.
“I feel sharp, and I feel very proud to represent my birth country,” he says.
A race suit as unique as his journey
One of the most striking elements of Victor’s World Championship debut is his custom-designed Peruvian race suit, which Swix Custom Wear designed and made.
“The suit is amazing. Great job from Swix,” Victor says, proudly showcasing the design.
The suit even features a traditional Andean symbol, a historical emblem of the Andean community in Peru. It means so much to wear something that represents my heritage.

Supported by Swix
Victor’s journey to the World Championships has been a solo mission, with no official backing from a national federation. But he hasn’t been alone. As a Swix athlete, he has received world-class equipment, including Triac poles, technical clothing, and the iconic Peruvian race suit.
Swix Racing’s wax technicians will also support him during the championships, where he will be racing the qualification for the 10km and the team sprint.
“I’m just as prepared as one can get,” Victor says. “I’ve been working hard, training a lot, refining my technique—and now we’ll see how it goes in the qualification.”
If he performs well in Trondheim, Victor will qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina—the next milestone in his remarkable journey. For Victor, for Peru, and for the dream of making history.
